I had the pleasure of attending a VIP event to test the team members and food before the grand opening. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and smile upon entering. My wife and I decided to get the BLT Piada and the Chefs Favorite Piada. I had the Chefs Favorite. I decided to add some hot fried chicken, BOY IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT. This was very spicy and quite delicious. I was very full by the time I finished. On top of that, we also decided to try the pepperoni stick Piada and the Mac and cheese. All of the food items had great flavor! The service was very fast and the team members were very happy and friendly. I will definitely be returning! I suggest you try Chefs Favorite Piada with Hot Fried Chicken!

One of the best piada experiences I’ve ever had. The chefs were friendly and attentive. very clean and taken care of. Also some of the best tasting piada I’ve ever had. Usually I get it as a last resort but if every time I get it is as good as this I’ll gladly come back anytime!

I took my friend Amy to lunch! I haven't been to Piada in years. We went and I will never forget this place! We were greeted with smiles by all the employees. The employees were all pleasant. I got The Basil Pesto pasta. You can choose penne or spaghetti with it. I chose penne. My friend got a pita pocket that was filled with meatballs and Avocado Chop salad. Wewent to pay after arguing with my friend that I was paying she finally gave in and let me treat her! The cashier that checked us out was super nice, funny and a great Employee! I was pleased with our visit . Amy the cashier that checked us out gave us lids for our food! We couldn't finish it all and she gave us lids for the sauce too! She even got us each a bag. Sometimes people don't wanna go above and beyond. She definitely did! I did use the restroom and it was clean! We will be back soon we both loved our food and experience! She was never there before! Go try it!!

I had an outstanding experience at Piada Italian Street Food in South Hills, thanks to the amazing team: Jeremy, Angel, Kadin, Amy, and Nye. From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly helpful, especially for first-time visitors like us. They took the time to guide us through the menu, let us try samples, and helped us customize our own bowls to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Their hospitality truly went above and beyond. And seriously, if you haven’t tried the cannoli chips yet, turn around and go get them! They’re that good. Thank you all for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back, probably this Saturday for the 50% off entrees deal! Can’t wait!

Piada only opened up a few days ago and we happened to be in the neighborhood so we decided to stop in. We really liked it, given what it is. The first thing to realize is that it is a riff on Chipotle – instead of Mexican-style burritos, you have the option of pastas, salad bowls, or their version of burritos. They do not call them burritos – they call them Piadas, but they treat them exactly the same as Chipotle – just with different fillings. That is not to disparage what they do – not at all! However, their tag line is “Italian Street Food” and that would be Paninis, and not these burrito take-offs. We tried one of their bowls, a pasta, and their Piada Rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed each of them and they whole lot was relatively inexpensive and very tasty. The bowl was the Bacon & Blue to which we added a piece of grilled Salmon. The salad was very tasty and the salmon was cooked to perfection to make an excellent lunch. The Pasta we chose was Penne with the Fra Diavolo sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was well seasoned as well. The large serving size was actually too much for a lunch portion and enough to have leftovers. The Piada Rolls were their burrito shells with some cheese on the inside, rolled up, and then baked and served. They also have a version with pepperoni. While I keep referring to burritos above, these are not tortillas and do not taste anything like tortillas. As you can see from my descriptions above, the food was very tasty and enjoyable. So, yes, this is a takeoff on Chipotle, and no, it is not Italian street food, but we will definitely stop in again to try some of their other offerings when we are in that neighborhood again! About the only real negative was that they are still getting their process in place – it takes a bit longer than it should to go down the line. We noted that they had two steamers for the wraps – but were only using one for instance. I am not taking away from this review for that – this is clearly a learning curve issue.
